Personal work
A publication that explores how skateboarding is becoming a tool for profound change in the Palestinian Occupied Territories.
I began volunteering with the skateboarding NGO SkatePal in 2015, and created this independent zine to raise funds for a proposed skatepark in Jayyous, a Palestinian village in the West Bank (5). The sales contributed nearly 10% of funding for the park construction, which featured in the Viceland series Post Radical, and for which I was part of the team of builders.
The publication was stocked in a number of skateboard stores & magazine outlets across Europe, and I recieved orders from as far as New York, Moscow & Beirut.
You can reads interviews about the project with both i-D and STACK.
