Roll With The Punches

[Personal work]
A publication that explores how skateboarding is becoming a tool for profound change in the Palestinian Occupied Territories.
I began volunteering with the skateboarding NGO SkatePal in 2015, and created this independent zine as a fundraiser for an uncoming skatepark build in the Palestinian village of Jayyous (5). The sales contributed nearly 10% of funding for the park construction, in which I helped shovel and screed the cement, and which even featured in the Viceland series Post Radical.
The publication was stocked in a number of skateboard stores & magazine outlets across Europe, and I recieved orders from as far as New York, Moscow & Beirut.
You can reads interviews about the project with both i-D and STACK.
