A music video for a heart on the mend (and my acting debut).
Heartbreak is hard, but music is therapy. This rare track by the short-lived band Promise really hit home, and it didn’t have a video.
We shot this on a (surprisingly cold) October morning and sent it to the label, Numero Records, who said it was ‘nice’ and entered it into a music promo competition – The Shiny Awards – where the judges feedback was “one-take videos are tough, especially with a bad performance”.
Talk about kick a guy when he’s down... ever tried to dance on a bike?! Still, one of my favourite production companies (CANADA) loved it, as did my nan. Consequently, most of the views are from people at her bingo hall.
