A guerrilla public service announcement during the 2016 Euro Football Competition.
France played host to the 2016 European Football Championship, which opened amid revelations of unprecedented corruption within UEFA's chief executives. At the heart of the scandal (along with Sepp Blatter) was none other than former French twinkle-toes, Michel Platini.
After years of lining their pockets with illegitimate money stolen from the game, I saw it as my duty to warn football fans about the real pickpockets in the area.
I made some posters, took a bus down to Paris, and on the opening night of the tournament, crept around the streets pasting up my message. Couple of weeks later, I found that someone had turned my design into a t-shirt and started selling it – the irony!
**UPDATE** Michel Platini and Sepp Blatter were immediately stripped of their titles. They have since been charged with fraud and are currently awaiting trial.
