An awareness campaign using internet-famous cats to talk about the plight of endangered cats.
People just love cats don’t they? But who loves cats more? Yup – the internet.
We approached Greenpeace with an idea to harness the irrational popularity of cats for a good cause... With World Tiger Day approaching, we rallied together the most famous cats on the internet to raise awareness about the most endangered cats in the wild, and hopefully spark some ‘cativism’.
The film – narrated by Lil Bub (king of the internet cat empire) and stitched together from random clips sent to us by ‘influential kittys’ – encouraged people to enlist the support of their own cat by using our simple meme generator and sharing via their social channels.
